InvestChile is CORFO's programme for the development of domestic and foreign investment in the country, particularly in sectors with high potential for growth. This is achieved via active promotion and attraction of investment. In addition to providing the investor with information and consultancy services, InvestChile offers economic incentives during the pre-investment, set up and development stages of a project.


InvestChile's priority areas:

• Export clusters (mining, salmon, wine and fruit).
• New technology industries (international technology services; biotechnology; medical technology; ITC centres; software development centres; technology research, and others).
• Priority sectors and production chains at regional level (timber and plastics secondary industry; olive industry; special interest tourism, and others).
• Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE) - water, geothermal, wind, solar and biomass - and environmental technologies.
